Built on the new curriculum

Every area of the Primary Curriculum Framework

The framework organises learning into five curriculum areas, with the new specifications rolling out to schools from September 2026. Ullamh covers all five, from Junior Infants to 6th Class.

AvailableLanguageEnglish and Gaeilge, Primary Language Curriculum
AvailableSTEM EducationMathematics · Science, Technology and Engineering
AvailableWellbeingPE and SPHE every fortnight, all four strands
AvailableArts EducationArt, Music and Drama across all three strands
AvailableSocial and Environmental EducationMy locality, the island of Ireland, Europe and the wider world

Official Learning Outcomes

Every outcome is quoted from the NCCA specifications for that stage, including the 2025 Wellbeing, Arts, Social and Environmental, and STEM specifications. Maths plans add the NCCA mathematical concepts; Gaeilge plans add the language functions.

NCCA planning headings

Plans use the same headings as the NCCA planning templates, so they drop straight into your school's planning and your Cuntas Míosúil.

Linked across the areas

Linkage and integration is written in the framework's terms, from integrated areas in Stages 1 and 2 to subjects within each area from 3rd class.

Questions

Before you buy

Is this aligned with the new curriculum?

Yes. Plans follow the Primary Curriculum Framework and quote Learning Outcomes from the current specifications: the Primary Mathematics Curriculum (2023), the Primary Language Curriculum, and the 2025 specifications for Wellbeing, Arts Education, Social and Environmental Education, and STEM.

Our school is introducing one new area at a time. Does that work?

Yes. Buy only the areas your school has introduced. Wellbeing must be one of a school's first three new areas, so it is a good place to start.

Can I edit the plans?

Yes. Every plan is a Word document and every slide deck is a PowerPoint you can change. Worksheets, puzzles and displays are print-ready PDFs.

Do you cover multi-class rooms?

Classes in the same stage share Learning Outcomes, so the packs for both classes in a stage sit side by side. Each unit includes support and extension ideas.

Which Irish curriculum do the Gaeilge packs use?

The Gaeilge packs are for English-medium schools (T2), organised by the familiar themes, with the NCCA language functions for each fortnight.

What is included in a Class Bundle?

A Class Bundle equips your chosen room for the entire school year: all curriculum areas (Maths, English, Gaeilge, Wellbeing, Arts, Social & Environmental, and Science/Tech/Engineering across all three terms), plus the complete Class Teacher Printables Pack: bilingual visual timetables, class job rotas, positive behaviour posters, reward charts, editable student tray & coat-peg labels, learning wall banners, WALT/WILF displays, end-of-term rubrics, conferencing notes, pre-filled monthly Cuntas Míosúil, and for Infant classes all 12 Aistear socio-dramatic play packs. It is a one-off payment of €49 with instant download and yours to keep forever.

Can our whole staff use it?

Yes, with a school membership: €99 a year for up to 8 teachers, €149 for up to 16, or €199 for any size of school, on one annual invoice.

What is the founding price?

Early members pay the founding price and keep it for as long as their membership stays active. New members will pay more later.
